inspired by sylvia plath’s famous ‘fig tree’ analogy, i name this newsletter after my scattered thoughts and the inner workings of my mind. each thought and observation branches out akin to a fig tree; there is so much to say and each has nothing in common.

“the fig tree” is a work in progress and a love letter to thinking. it encompasses many areas that often occupy my mind - personal essays, film, fashion, literature and a grey area of thought that cannot be labelled. i have so much to say and this is my platform.
